No, we use semolina flour only.
Must call the restaurant. They're very accommodating. This time of year they're no super busy, so you should have no issues.
They do not
Every day except Monday I believe
Cozy and quiet. Nice music. Great service. Reasonable prices and good food. We'll be back.
Wow. Amazing homestyle Italian food. If it wasn't recommended I would have driven right past it! In a strip mall, but once you walk in the door you are met with the wonderful smells of Nonnas kitchen. Service was excellent, warm bread to begin, great cocktails, and even the salads are top notch. Homemade pasta too. So glad to have found this spot, I loved it!
Very good! Great portions! Everything is super fresh and the gluten free pasta was so yummy! Will definitely be back!
I had an immediate upset stomach after I ate there, very poor quality of food and prices are like fine restaurant. Slow and poor service. Wish I could give them no star at all. My husband felt the same for this place. Overly hyped.
Awesome food and service as usual. A hidden gem in Milford. If you like Italian, check it out.
Honestly, very good. Staff was attentive and friendly, pasta dishes great, chicken parmesan was probably the best we ever had. Only reason for 4 star instead of 5, calamari app was entirely tentacles and peppers, with literally a single "ring" in the whole dish. Was good... Just used the cheaper parts of the animal. Only reason I even mention it is in the hope that the people in charge can continue the trend of being really incredibly good.
On the pricey side and food was only so so
This is real Italian food served without any frills or gimmicks and the staff is very friendly. Plus some dishes come in small or large portions. So you do not have to be concerned about left overs. This is the 2nd time we were there and will go back again.
Service was great however I waited an hour for a Caesar Salad. Longer for the most awful risotto I've ever had. Extremely disappointed. Epic fail.
Not terribly impressed this time. Service was slow and my Seafood came drowned in a red sauce which was totally unremarkable.
Magnificant food! Wonderful decor. Warm and inviting dining areas. Friendly and professional staff. I had an exceptional experience from drinks to appetizers, to main course, to dessert, and topped it off with robust coffee. I will be returning with more friends to share this fantastic Italian gem!
Excellent food, good bread with real dipping oil, good portion sizes. Pricey, even with the specials they offer.
This is a hidden gem in milford. If you are looking GOOD Italian food where they pay close attention on detail on their food then this is the place for you. Quant place that has good atmosphere. Food here is not production food as you'll find in most places. I had the chicken picatta and it was simply delicious. Fresh moist chicken, wonderful fragrant broth and yummy little salty capers. The pasta was only a side dish for me but the sauce reminded me of grandmas sauce. I can't say enough good about this place. Mary runs the front of the house and you can tell she pays attention to each of her customer's. Emily at the bar has a great attitude and is a very hard worker. A real compliment to the business.
Mozzarella stick was great. Both mine and my wife's food was just okay/undercooked. Wait staff kept appologizing about the kitchen working on a large to go order even though we didn't wait long.
I wanted to love this place since I love it's sister restaurant Riverhouse, but unfortunately it just doesn't hit the mark. Two of our four dishes were bland and flavorless, the other two were better but not stellar. The homemade pasta is good, but sauces need work. Wine list is very limited, without many Italian imports. Service is friendly, but it still feels like they are working out the kinks.
Great authentic Italian food result of talented, proud and knowledgeable chef. Menu is diverse for every course, everything homemade, and dishes prepared to perfection; servers are friendly, knowledgeable of Italian food, and encourage guests to modify their order: less capers, fresh mozzarella added to their hot pasta, linguini instead of capellini. Generous portions. Gracious welcome. Newly renovated, Italian American songs in the background... Everyone seems so happy and relaxed!
Exquisite Italian cuisine. If you want a good, hearty meal, don't skip by this place. Staff is professional and friendly. Located not far from the center of town- if you live in Milford or are just visiting, you have a strong recommendation from me- your local critical diner.
Tried last night. I got pan seared scallops which come in this amazing lemony sauce with pancetta. Absolutely delicious. It came with a starch (I chose spaghetti) and veggie (chose broccoli). The broccoli was great, in a buttery, garlicy sauce. Husband got chicken parmesan. He said it was very good. The only downside was that my food wasn't hot, almost room temp. I think my food was done before my husband's and it sat for a while. The restaurant is really new and I'm excited to try it again. Im sure any kinks will be quickly worked out.
Excellent service for a small group, generous portion
A real gem of Italian cuisine in the last place you'd expect to find it. Delicious frankly prepared food, authentic recipes. Not your average Italian eatery. I'm slowly and happily working my way through the menu, so far, GREAT!
Food was sub par and alittle pricey for N H coming from a New Yorker😊
Best authentic Italian in the area. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. Only downside is located in a strip mall but they've done a good job sprucing up the interior.
Delicious food, great service
Such a surprise for a great Italian dining night. I will be going back 😁😎
Mangia Sano is a wonderful place for delicious italian food. Everything is fresh and tasty. They catered my wedding and there were only compliments about there stellar service and food! Thank you Heather and John for making our day!
Great food! My meal was wonderfully flavorful and well seasoned. The bread was delicious and the drinks were good as well. Unfortunately service was very VERY slow. It took about an hour from when we ordered to get our meals, and two of us got pasta dishes (aka no meat) and the other had a salad so we are not sure what took so long (it was not crowded). Fortunately, once we had our meals, the flavors made up for the wait!
Best Italian in the area, I have yet to be disappointed. I have had the veal piccatta (pictured), cacio e pepe, Italian pork chop, and several appetizers. Everything is fresh and handmade, wine list is decent and they are slowly rolling in cocktails. The ambiance is low key, and perfect for date night or going out with friends. My only drawback is that only 1 seafood dish is mollusk-free (allergy).
Truly committed to fresh food a perfect family dining experience. Homemade pasta is delicious.
Good food & service, reasonably priced.
Always amazing. If they served breakfast, I'd eat every meal here!
Excellent authentic italian food in a family setting. Reasonable prices and great staff.
I am very finicky when it comes to marinara sauce. Most places try to impress by dousing it with tons of onions and peppers to make up for what it lacks. This place is the opposite. Fresh sweet tomatoes with the perfect blend of herbs and spices that I could eat forever. I am proud to call this my new home for great Italian food. They treat you like family here, so come and enjoy!
Great. I have been here four times and every time has been a delicious meal. My family has been here 7 times because it's their favorite place to go after soccer at the Dome. Their prices are incredible their food is amazing I cannot recommend it enough
Mangia Sano is much more than a local Italian restaurant. They're menu has unique, creative and healthy choices. A pleasant, not noisy environment.
Dinner was nice. Yummy pasta (carbs are always good, right?). The menu has plenty of selections. When I said my daughter and I would share a salad, they brought it out on two plates. Try it if you want a nice casual Italian meal!
Hidden treasure just off the oval! The veal, scallops, bread, etc were fabulous. We'll be going back!
Enjoyed the food and service. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked. The meal portions were great. I didn't even think of reaching for salt or pepper because the food came from the kitchen flavorful. I had the veal parmigiana and my wife enjoyed the lasagna. Both of our cocktails were prepared well and quickly.
My husband and I have been trying to get take-out once a week since the Pandemic. All our meals have been great - but I must say - Mangia Sano not only has the best Chicken Parm .. but the best meatballs so far ... Yummy ...
Delicious food.
